The Hôtel de La Marine was built in Normandy in 1900 This beautiful house facing the harbour entrance in the charming fishing village of Port en Bessin is just a few kilometres from Bayeux with its famous tapestry depicting William the Conqueror.Set amid the landing beaches, near the American cemetery at Omaha Beach in Colleville-sur-Mer, the Hôtel de la Marine is designed for a relaxing and cultural stay.In addition to its sweeping views across the sea, outdoor terrace and panoramic restaurant, a professional team is on hand to make your stay thoroughly enjoyable.You will love observing the traditional lifestyles of the sea fishermen, from the fresh fish for sale in the morning at the indoor market opposite the harbour to the boats that sound their bell in homage to the Virgin Mary, as well as the refreshing sea breeze…Renovated by the architect Alexander Juhasz, La Marine is comfortable, modern and open every day from February to December.
